Alexearlite

For Mr. Jayson Alexander (Alex) Earl (1997–2023), who discovered the mineral in a sample from the Lucky Boy Mine. Alex was a mineralogist, mineral collector, and photographer who specialized in microminerals (particularly those with uranium, selenium, or tellurium). In particular, he contributed greatly to mineralogical knowledge of the Tintic District.
