Description

Breathtaking showpiece with four type localities on one specimen. The light grey elongated chervetite crystals, which reach a length of 1 centimetre, stand out. The main accompanying mineral is abundant red-orange francevillite. This is associated with strong yellow vanuralite and a small amount of mounanaite can also be seen. Mounanaite are the dark brown crystals that can be seen in the close-ups of the Francevillite in the background.

Typical and at the same time rarely offered specimen of high quality, which combines four of the type locality minerals occurring here. The size of the specimen is also remarkable. First-class show specimen.

Formerly from the Gilbert Gauthier collection (France), then from the Luc Vandenberghe collection (Belgium).
