Description

This superfine and classic Spanish specimen features numerous of  almost gemmy and multifaced crystals of honey-brown Sphalerite, contrastful associated with cream-white rhombohedral Dolomite and mostly transparent Calcite. The Sphalerite (and also the the other species) are excellent defined, sharp edged and high lustrous. The Troya Mines were old lead and zinc ore mines. The last operation time was from 1986 to 1993 by Exminesa. Nowadays the mine is flooded and consequently such fine and aesthetic specimens are rare and sought.
