Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)

Description

An excellent and absolutely undamaged specimen of quartz epimorphing after fluorite cubes. The specimen is re-invested by brown to very dark ankerite crystals, supplemented by jet black sphalerite crystals. This is an ex. Ralph Sutcliffe specimen and his label will be send along. This label states that it is from the Rampgill-Scraithole-Swinhope-coal Clough mines complex and that it has been recovered by mine explorers from late 18th century lead workings. An exciting specimen.
