Description

This is a very good quality quartz epimorph. A large octahedral fluorite crystal is perch on a rhombohedral calcite crystal. The calcite was dissolved long ago bot the fluorite remains within the encrustation.

The quartz crystals coating the rhomb have some luster and are included with a black mineral, probably manganese oxide. This one is quite unusual and would enhance the collection of a Colorado or psuedomorph collector.
