Description

The specimen has a cross section of a feldspar crystal finished in schorl as a core which has formed a ball like surround. The ball-like surrounded of schorl merges into an outer shell of fluorite that is penetrated by schorl and is itself made up of small transparent pale green zoned to violet coloured cuboctahedral crystals. The mass of opal-AN on the top is made up of radial narrow sprays culminating into a cauliform spread of amorphous crystals.
