Description

The specimen is made up of an aggregate of interlocking crystals. Braunite is a manganese mineral and here one is looking at a metallic lustre on dipyramidal crystals. The side planes have parallel striations and the termination basal planes are without geometric striations. There is a deposit of micro andradite garnet, their pink-brown colour in contrast to the metallic lustre of the braunite-II. The crystals are small up to 0.6cm.
