Description

A specimen from the Cowhorse hush, near Wellhope, comprising lustrous, sharp fluorite, either clear or with yellowish/purple hints and up to 8mm, on ironstone matrix and siderite.

The crystals vary from clear edges to frosted centres, some have slightly bevelled edges. A very rarely seen Weardale locality. Some incomplete crystals where they bridged the original cavity.
