Description

An old time pyromorphite from the Leadville Mining District, Bligh County. The stubby barrel crystals cover all surfaces of this specimen and are lusterous with a rich yellow to orange colour. This area was first worked for lead silver ores in the 1880's and again in the early 1920's, after which all mining ceased
