Description

Baddeleyite is a fairly rare zirconium oxide that is not typically found in well-defined crystals that are larger than micros. In recent years, some of the largest baddeleyite crystals have been coming out of the Mogok region of Burma. This specimen is a well-formed, prismatic, dark brown color prismatic crystal of baddeleyite from a discovery in 2009.
