Description

Phillipsite K is one of the more uncommon species represented at Iron Monarch. The crystals occured as isolated individuals which normally displayed typical cross twinning seen in phillipsite. The cavities where these phillipsite crystals are very thin and as is the case here are associated with thin bladed and twinned calcite crystals.
