Chania, Crete, Greece
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
16.8 × 12.7 × 7 cm
Description

This is a large and heavy specimen. Please see the shipping cost before bidding.

This large quartz specimen comes from the alpine-type fissures of Chania. It is very hard to photograph and it is better in person. The crystals are milky at the base and become more clear near the tips. Some of them have dark-colored inclusions which I guess is chlorite. The luster is good and for the size, the condition is not too bad, but there is some damage near some of the tips. Overall, this is a decent, large Greek alpine-type quartz specimen to own.
