Description

Euhedral and complete crystal of traditionally considered as “hornblende” from the Etna Complex, that were collected at a well located and small outcrop at Sant'Alfio by Roger Gnat in 1988. According to a recent research (Sicurella et al., 2020), these crystals are indeed Oxo-magnesio-Hastingsite. According to Dr. Ciriotti, a wider publication will be available in the fall of 2021 in an international journal.
