A good block of halides from the potash mines near the town of Saskatchewan, Canada. The given locality at the original label is Duval-Kil Mines. This coarse-grained potash ore is formed by colourless, partially rounded halite cubes to 1.7 cm of edge, colourless interstitial sylvite, and red coloured interstitial carnallite. A thin layer of grey clay is usually found between the red carnallite and the other two phases. A yellowish protective layer was applied to preserve the specimen. Uncommon material!.

This is from the collection of Dr. Bob Janssens, a Belgian Geologist, who collected the specimen personally in 09/1980.
