Description

Aggregates of good size, pale orange lustrous crystals of stellerite with nacre reflexes, richly distributed on a big tabular matrix. The crystals at one corner are incomplete. According to the accompanying label it was found at Coonabarabran. Mindat indicates that: “A rockshop in the Coonabarabran town was one of the main suppliers of this material, which actually probably came largely from the Tambar Springs and Garrawilla areas”.

Acquired in 20/4/1975 to Olivier Szentessy. Ex Gustaaf collection #134, with his handwritten label.
