Description

A large euhedral crystal of almandine, measuring 6 cm, of typical rhombic dodecahedral form, deep red-brown colour and in perfect condition, just minor rest of the metamorphic matrix is some corners. Old material, that unlike other pieces from this locality in the market, shows natural, not polished faces.

Acquired in 9/8/1986. Ex Gustaaf collection #139, with his handwritten label.
