Description

Good size aggregate of elongated grey bismuthinite crystals, with the surface richly covered by canary yellow bismutite. Associated to minor quartz and muscovite, it is a rounded piece due to some alluvial transport, from Bijyojyo (=Bijojo), a very rare locality in collections. The sample was collected in the middle 1960’s by Professor A. Delvaux (1919-1998), with a copy of his handwritten label.
