Description

Extremely rare in collections is this clinoclase from the Ex. Zaire. This uncommon arsenate in Katanga was found at the old dumps of the Mindingi Mine. It features deep blue crystals of intense lustre on a grey chalky matrix with green malachite.

Specimen collected by Achiel Moors, a Belgian colonist in the DR Congo between 1957 and 1972.
