Description

Very rare locality specimen featuring a rounded botryoidal layered todorokite from the Forari mine (Vanuatu). This is in fact the second specimen from Vanuatu ever offered on e-rocks. The Forari mine was exploited from 1962 to 1979 (Glasby, 1988) and according to Warden (1971) the mineralization is made of todorokite.

Collected in 1999 by Ludo Van Goethem.
