Description

Osmium grains from the Savage River on the island of Tasmania in Australia. 
Formerly summarized under the collective term Iridosmine, subsequently referred to as Rutheniridosmine. After the last nomenclature change, all alloys with a dominant proportion of osmium are now only referred to as osmium. 
The analysis is a bulk analysis of 10 grains from the same location.

Ir: 41.85 %

Ru: 9,09 %

Fe: 1,86 %

The size of the sample container is 1.1 cm
