Vitreous, snowy white, sparkling crystals set on small matrix. Bertrandite is a rare ortho-rombic member of the silicates. Usually you will find micro-photos of this mineral - it is already rare when you get crystals which are visible with naked eye. This dimension is very unique and this old classic locality probably produced the very best, largest crystals world-wide.
