Summit Cleft, Weißeck, Murwinkel, Tamsweg District, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster

Cabinet (10-18 cm)

12.6 × 9.1 × 8 cm
Description

This is an excellent piece from the 3rd cavern (45 meters deep inside the mountain) of the famous summit-cleft. Most specimen need strong backlight to show the internal color. This one shows amazing translucency - very special for the locality. Please note that I didn´t use any backlight for the photos - they were done under daylight! The amazing dark blue to sea-green color is wonderful, the very best color from the locality! The crystal shows the typical stepped habit. No significant damages to report, backside was extracted from the rock.
