Description

Three pebbles consisting of massive cassiterite, so called "Seifenzinn" (placer tin). The size is given for the biggest piece (right on pic 1).

The mine is located 5 kms West of Bald Nob Trig Station. Operated as underground workings, open cut, dredging and sluicing, shafts, and shallow pits 1872 to 1970s.

Comes with antique Dr. F. Krantz label dated 1900-1920.
