Here we have a fine and very typical, strongly rounded native platinum nugget from the type locality in Colombia with some limonite remnants.
Unlike the "usual" locales like Goodnews Bay or Fox Gulch in Alaska and Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russia, this locality is rarely offered and thus hard to get.

From the collection of Prof. Dr. Kurt Rossmanith, Vienna, Austria which was built up from the late 1950's to modern times.
