Description

In 2024, a small pocket of vanadinite was found in the South Geronimo mine in Arizona, the first in a decade or more. This mine is known for its wulfenites, but vanadinite from this location has been exceedingly rare. This specimen combines yellow, orange, and crimson red vanadinite with  bladed baryte. An nice thumbnail Arizona vanadinite from an uncommon locality.
