A very interesting specimen of Hematite with Quartz var. Amethyst.
From the outside, the specimen has a botryoidal structure and consists of several layers of hematite, inside we see a granite layer and an amethyst vein around it.
Fantastic specimen, a rare amethyst connection at this location.
Great size for the locale.
