Description

Nice specimen with sheaves of lustrous, olive-green, acicular luinaite-(oh) in and on a group of rock crystals, inckuding a (unfortunately damaged) Japan law twin. Luinaite-(oh) is one of the rarest of the tourmaline group with only 10 localities known so far, the Bald Hornet claim proably being the best. Collecting is forbidden there nowadays, because the area was turned into a nature reserve.

Several of the quartz crystals are a bit damaged. Nonetheless this is a very desirable, rare specimen.
