Description

Rare specimen, with a big yellow to orange crystal, because oil inclusions.The color is stronger at sunlight.
Diamond quartz  from septaria. Also called sometimes  Mirabeau diamond in memory of Count Mirabeau,who tried (in XVIIIe) to pay his taxes with that sort of diamond !
The rock is covered by calcite, brown to black because hydrocarbone.
Escorted by minor calcite and ankerite.The quartz crystal had some problems during its crystallizing due to the presence of oil in septaria, and it is not broken!
No damage.
