You are bidding on a world class sample from the Phillips collection with excpetional, single prismatic, white, frosted larsenite crystals in vugs in clinohedrite/esperite with sharp clinohedrite crystals. This is from the best find of this mineral and one of the best known samples in existence. From the Alice Kraissl collection, then to Van King and finally to Steven Phillips. 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
