Description

Interesting and very (!) rich sample of fine crystalline/earthy beaverite-(Cu) from the type locality. It comes with a large label indicating that it is original material from the co-author W. T. Schaller, who gave the sample to the mineral dealer KRANTZ in 1911. This specimen with original material is a very rich reference for this mineral from the publication year of 1911. Rarely seen specimen from the type locality.

The glass tube (including cork) measures 7 centimetres in length.
