Description

Here is a small gold nugget from the famous Klondike area of Dawson , Yukon There appears to be a tiny quartz crystal attached in one spot. Label from George Thompson which is shown in one photo. There is some dark green museum tac which may be visible which I tried to remove from the specimen. My scale does not measure smaller than 0.1 grams so it is possible the nugget is more than 0.2gr, but would be less than 3gr. The nugget is an odd shape to measure, the widest spot is 4mm, the depth also varies from 1 to 2mm.
